Ask him about his pets and you’ll receive a montage of his two dogs Cusco and Havi, as well as his two cats Orion and Neptune. You’ll probably also find him around the city eating at his favorite vegetarian restaurants, taking in an Atlanta United game, or enjoying a beer at Fire Maker or any of its neighboring breweries.

A fan of classic styles, Kevin loves infusing old-school brewing techniques and recipes with new-school flavors and ingredients, always striving to create everyone’s perfect beer!

What’s your favorite type of beer?

I love classic German Styles! Hefeweizen, Dunkelweizen, Dunkel, Alt, Helles…. All these styles have amazing flavors, and their drinkability is unmatched!

What made you decide to get into the craft beer industry?

I love learning new things, trying new things, and meeting new people. Craft beer is the perfect amalgamation of this, and it keeps me excited for every day I come into the brewery.

What makes you a Fire Maker?

Fire Makers find their passion and pursue it their fullest. Ever since I set foot in a brewery, I have strived to improve, optimize, learn, and grow. I hope my zeal for brewing can help create a spark in others to find their passion and become a Fire Maker themselves!
